SQ Engineering 4AGE 20V Throttle linkage kits to suit ITB / REVERSED DOWN PULL

NOTE:
This is for the REVERSED Downwards Pull Kit aka UP PULL

These kits replace the original 4AGE 20V top linkage system and in its place has the throttle cable directly actuate the opening of the throttle bodies from the underside.
For those that use 4AGE 16V engines converted to quad throttles this gives a significant improvement in the throttle feel due to the throttle cable path.

Type 2: Reverse Down-pull kit - for inverted / upside down throttles.
This is where the TPS is held at the rear of the engine.

On 16V 4AGEs that have been converted to quad throttles the throttles are held in place upside down.
This when fitted forces the throttle cable into a torturous path with two very harsh bends, stiff throttle pedal and poor feedback.
This kit complete fixes this issue by running the cable in a gentle loop around the bottom and up.

Note: to fit this version a small part of the OEM throttle end link needs to be removed, this is easily cut off with a hand grinder or a hand saw.

Throttle body and intake manifold compatibility
- Throttle spacing: The supplied brackets with the kits suit different ranges of spacing from the centre to centre between throttles from the original 20V (87.5mm) right up to 93mm.
- 3SGE Beams (pictured).
- Throttles: Suit all three of the 20V 4AGE ITB types.
- Throttle cable type: Due to being able to be routed around or under the brake master cylinder the throttle cable used can vary a great deal in its length. When fitted to an AE71 or AE86, the very long KE70 cable can be used, the original type as used with a 4age 16V engine in a RHD AE86 is not likely to fit.
