Forge is excited to introduce their High-flow intake system for the Suzuki Swift Sport. Many months and manhours of development have been invested in this product to achieve three main goals: increasing power output & torque, improving the sound characteristics of the engine and improving the visual impression of the engine compartment.

During testing we found that the location of the original air box was sensitive to a large amount of heat. This is because the air box inlet is placed directly above a very hot heat source - the radiator. This led to the design and relocation of the air filter/air box adopted in the engine compartment. The Forge cold air intake system now cleverly draws air from the front bumper of Suzuki Swifts, keeping intake temperatures extra cool in any climate.

After extensive testing, we discovered that our carbon fiber canister filters were the best. The filter element itself is supplied by Pipercross and can be fully serviced or replaced if required. The pipe of the kit goes around the cold side of the engine and away from the turbo distributor; this again serves to maintain intake temperatures as low as possible. Overall, we noticed a drop in inlet temperatures from 39°C to 26°C. These numbers can be reduced even further with our supplementary intercooler upgrade .

The Forge HighFlow air box produced an impressive increase of over 8BHP at 5500RPM and a gain in the entire rev range on independent dyno testing.

The design of this kit also added some excitement to the driving experience with subtle yet characteristic induction roar at higher acceleration.
